The “Protocol on Amendments to the “Statute on the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States” approved by the Protocol dated June 21, 2000″, signed in Bishkek on October 13, 2023, has been approved with the relevant reservation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
“Elchi” reports that President Ilham Aliyev has signed a law in this regard.
According to the reservation, the document is approved with the exception of the Secretary General’s authority to coordinate the work of the CIS sectoral cooperation bodies in matters of political cooperation and interaction with states and other international intergovernmental organizations.
