Air Force represents our country in international exercise held in Turkey

The international search and rescue exercise “Anadolu Ankası – 2026” (“Anatolian Phoenix – 2026”) has commenced in Konya city of the Republic of Turkey, with the participation of military personnel from various countries.

“Elchi” reports that the Ministry of Defense released information about this.

It was stated that the purpose of the exercise is to increase interoperability and operational compatibility among search and rescue forces of various countries, to improve command and control mechanisms, to enhance the professional training level of personnel, to search for and rescue crew members in emergency situations, to effectively execute rescue operations on water and land, as well as in difficult terrain conditions, to ensure the safe evacuation of pilots, to provide air support, and to develop skills in improving the activities of air controllers.

It was noted that in the international exercise, which will continue until April 17, our country is represented by pilots of the Azerbaijani Air Force, parachute-landing and search and rescue service specialists, air controllers, technical personnel, and aviation assets.
