Today, a joint meeting of the Economic Council and the Supervisory Board of Azerbaijan Investment Holding was held.
Information about this was provided to “Elchi” from the Cabinet of Ministers.
It was reported that on the agenda of the meeting, held under the leadership of Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov, the strategic development of the oil and gas and petrochemical industry in Azerbaijan, including strategic goals related to oil refining and petrochemicals, future development prospects, sustainable provision of domestic demand for petroleum products in the long term, and other current issues were discussed in detail.
Regarding the issue on the agenda, SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf made a presentation. Members of the Economic Council and the Supervisory Board of AIH, invited guests, and the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of AIH participated in the meeting.
At the end of the meeting, relevant decisions were made, and instructions were given to the Board of AIH, SOCAR, and relevant agencies.
