Ukraine’s main flag has been lowered on the Pechersk hills in Kyiv.
“Elchi” reports that the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA) released information about this.
“The main Ukrainian flag was temporarily lowered due to expected unfavorable weather conditions on Monday, April 6,” the statement said.
It was noted that on that day, wind speeds in Kyiv are expected to reach 15-20 meters per second, which is why the Kyiv City State Administration decided to lower the flag.
It is reported that at the end of December 2025, unknown individuals launched a drone with a Russian flag in Kyiv. Details of the UAV seen in the sky were not disclosed. Shortly after, the Ukrainian National Police issued a statement regarding the situation.
