Smuggling of 21 kg of narcotics from Iran to Azerbaijan prevented. This was reported to “Elchi” by the State Border Service. It was stated that a large quantity of narcotic substances was prevented from being smuggled from Iran to Azerbaijan in the service area of the “Horadiz” border detachment of the Border Troops Command of the State Border Service. As a result of border search and operational measures carried out, 21 kilograms 300 grams of the narcotic substance marijuana were discovered and seized. Operational-investigative measures on the case are ongoing.
