It was noted that the slippery road surface and limited visibility require more attention and responsibility from drivers.
“In such weather conditions, it is important to be especially careful when driving, minimize the speed limit, maintain a greater distance than normal, and ensure that the car’s wipers and lighting devices are in working order.
At the same time, unfavorable weather conditions also create additional difficulties for pedestrians.
In rainy weather, due to the slipperiness of the road surface, as well as the reduced visibility of drivers, pedestrians should be more careful when moving, walk on the sidewalk, cross the road only at pedestrian crossings, and prefer light-colored, easily visible clothing. When crossing the road, they should be careful and cross only after making sure there are no cars or that vehicles have completely stopped in all lanes,” – it was emphasized in the appeal.
