US Secretary of War Pit Hegset promised on Tuesday that the US would deliver the most powerful strikes against Iran since the beginning of military operations.
“Elchi” reports that he stated this at a press conference with US leader Donald Trump at the White House.
“Today, at the direction of the US President, the most airstrikes will be carried out since the start of operations in the Middle East, and tomorrow there will be even more than today,” the Pentagon chief said.
According to him, US troops are ready to go anywhere, anytime to protect the country’s interests and fulfill the assigned task.
“Then it will be Iran’s choice. Choose wisely, because the President (Trump – ed.) is not joking. We are acting precisely. We control the airspace,” Hegset emphasized.
Earlier, Trump stated at this press conference that if Tehran does not unblock the Strait of Hormuz by then, the US could completely destroy Iran on the night from Tuesday to Wednesday.
