Heavy rain continues, snow depth in Shahdag is 1 meter – ACTUAL WEATHER

Actual weather for April 6, 9:00 AM has been announced.

According to information provided by the National Hydrometeorological Service to “Elchi”, unstable weather conditions continue across the country, with intense and heavy rain in some areas, and snow in mountainous regions. The snow cover height is 1 meter 24 cm in Shahdag, 34 cm in Gryz, 22 cm in Khinalig, and 3 cm in Gusar.

In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, the amount of precipitation recorded on April 5-6 was 90 mm, which constitutes 390% of the monthly norm.

The amount of precipitation in the regions of Azerbaijan: Khachmaz 94 (311% of the monthly norm), Guba 83 (174% of the monthly norm), Khaltan 74 (109% of the monthly norm), Khizi 69 (95% of the monthly norm), Gusar 69 (144% of the monthly norm), Shabran 63 (209% of the monthly norm), Gadabay 23, Shaki (Kishchay), Gakh (Saribash) 22, Dashkasan 19, Oghuz 18, Shamkir 17, Zagatala 16, Balakan, Gabala 13, Gobustan 12, Lerik, Shamakhi 10, Ismayilli, Neftchala, Goranboy 8, Barda 7, Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Aghdam, Naftalan 6, Shahbuz, Aghstafa, Bilasuvar, Astara, Tovuz 4, Yardimli 3, Ganja, Goychay, Zardab, Tartar 2, Imishli, Beylagan, Kurdamir, Sabirabad, Salyan, Sharur, Ordubad, Sadarak, Nakhchivan, Fuzuli, Kalbajar, Khankendi, Khojaly, Lachin, Gubadli and Shusha 1 mm.

North-west wind is blowing in some areas, with maximum wind speed strengthening up to 24 m/s in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, 20 m/s in Shabran, and 18 m/s in Ganja, Dashkasan.

The observed unstable weather conditions are expected to continue in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula until the evening of April 6, and in the regions of Azerbaijan until the evening of April 7.
