Georgian Foreign Minister: Relations with Azerbaijan are quite intensive

Relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan are quite intensive. Our relations cover cooperation in various fields.

“Elchi” reports that Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili said this while commenting on Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s state visit to Tbilisi.

She noted that meetings of high-ranking state officials are of great importance.

“The visit of the head of state of our strategic partner, neighbor, and friendly country to Georgia is very important for us. The President of Azerbaijan will have meetings with the Prime Minister and the head of state of Georgia. Especially against the backdrop of ongoing processes in the region, strengthening political and economic ties between neighboring and friendly states is crucial. We will discuss all important issues within the framework of the Azerbaijani President’s visit to Georgia,” Bochorishvili added.
