Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a phone conversation with US President Donald Trump, urged him not to seek a ceasefire with Iran at the current stage of the conflict.
“Elchi” reports that “Axios” correspondent Barak Ravid wrote about this on the “X” social network, citing his source in Israel.
“In yesterday’s phone call, Netanyahu urged President Trump not to seek a ceasefire at this stage and expressed his concerns about the risks associated with such a step,” the post stated.
According to the source, Trump told Netanyahu that a ceasefire could be achieved if Iran agreed to US demands. He also noted that he would not withdraw his demands for Iran to hand over all enriched uranium and abandon the resumption of its nuclear projects.
