At the AFFA Reporting Conference, the organization’s Secretary General Jahangir Farajullayev clarified the work to be done regarding infrastructure.
“Elchi” reports that the official stated that “Bayil Arena” will be closed for major renovation in May, after the current season ends.
After the reconstruction of the arena, it is planned to be used for children’s and youth football.
He also noted that “Karvan-Yevlax” has returned to its home ground. It is also planned to hold matches in Ganja and Tovuz cities starting from the next season.
In addition, the Agsu city stadium is planned to be adapted to Premier League standards. Renovation works will also be carried out at “Liv Bona Dea Arena”.
Farajullayev added that the creation of new centers is also on the agenda within the framework of infrastructure projects. It was emphasized that these steps serve the development of Azerbaijani football.
