Claims that US President Donald Trump is planning a military ground operation to seize Iran’s 60% enriched uranium reserves continue to dominate headlines. This plan is described by experts as one of the riskiest military measures since World War II.“Elchi” reports that, according to the International Atomic Energy Agency, Iran possessed approximately 440 kilograms of highly enriched uranium reserves before the air strikes on its nuclear facilities began.
This amount, when enriched to 90% weapons-grade level, offers enough power to produce approximately 10 nuclear bombs.
Despite the air strikes carried out last year, satellite images show that these reserves have been moved and protected in deep underground tunnels near Isfahan.
Analysts state that Trump sees this dangerous operation as a way to end the war and declare a decisive victory.
However, security experts note that this mission is too complex to be carried out by a covert infiltration operation of special forces.
