“Elchi” reports that Ünal Üstel, Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, said this at the Baku meeting of Prime Ministers of member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).
He stated that, with the motto “One nation, three states,” Azerbaijan-Turkey-TRNC relations should be an example for the entire OTS: “Our goal is to deepen these sincere relations with all member states and to complete the full membership process of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. We are ready to become a full member. Some centers act as if we do not exist, but we do. We have our state, and we have citizens living under our flag, who are the free and sovereign guarantors of our homeland. I thank President Ilham Aliyev for his unwavering faith in Turkic unity and his continuous support for Northern Cyprus.”
