Azerbaijan’s National Standard Time – UTC (AZ) is displayed in the ‘Clock Tower’ located in the Seaside National Park area.
This was reported to “Elchi” by the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control.
In this regard, an informational stand has also been installed near the aforementioned tower to educate visitors.
It should be noted that the display of UTC (AZ) in the ‘Clock Tower’ not only showcases internationally approved accurate time in the country but also aims to enable citizens to set their clocks.
National Standard Time – UTC (AZ) was approved by the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (Bureau International des Poids et Mesures – BIPM) in November 2025, and is of great importance for the formation of a unified and reliable time infrastructure in the country.
