Consular consultations held between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Tajikistan

Regular consular consultations were held in Baku between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.

According to information provided to “Elchi” by the MFA, the Azerbaijani delegation at the consultations was led by Emil Safarov, Head of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Tajik delegation by Baxodur Safarzoda, Head of the Main Consular Department.

The meeting was also attended by Ilkhom Abdurakhmon, Ambassador of Tajikistan to our country, as well as officials from the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Science and Education, and the Sustainable and Operative Social Security (DOST) Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population.

During the consular consultations, an exchange of views was held on the current state and development prospects of cooperation in the consular field between the two countries.

Cooperation issues between the two countries in the fields of justice, education, labor, social protection, and other important areas were reviewed.

At the end of the talks, the protocol of the meeting was signed by the heads of the delegations of the two countries.

Within the framework of the consular consultations, Fariz Rzayev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, received the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan.
