Russia is grateful to the Azerbaijani authorities for their assistance in delivering humanitarian aid to Iran.
“Elchi” reports that Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated this at a briefing.
The diplomat noted that humanitarian aid continues to be provided to the war-affected people of Iran. She recalled that the second large shipment of medical supplies also took place on March 27 via Azerbaijan, with over 300 tons of medicines delivered by rail.
“On the same day, a convoy of trucks delivered approximately 150 tons of humanitarian aid collected by the Republic of Dagestan to Astara. We are grateful to the Azerbaijani authorities for their assistance,” Maria Zakharova emphasized.
