A new appointment has been made to the coaching staff of the Azerbaijan national team consisting of footballers under 20 years old.
“Elchi” reports that, according to the decision, Vagif Javadov has been appointed as the assistant coach of the U-20 team.
It should be noted that Vagif Javadov, who started his coaching career in 2020, worked at “Sumgayit” and for a short period at Kazakhstan’s “Turan” club. The specialist, who began his coaching career as an assistant in “Sumgayit”‘s U-19 team, later worked as head coach at “Sumgayit-2”. He was the head coach of “Sumgayit”‘s main team in the second half of the 2024/2025 season.
