US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is claimed to testify before Congress for the first time since the start of the war with US and Israeli attacks on Iran.
“Elchi” reports that, according to information from “The Hill” newspaper, citing sources familiar with the matter, Hegseth will testify before Congress for the first time since the war on April 29.
While Hegseth is expected to testify before the House Armed Services Committee (HASC), US Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Dan Kaine is also expected to participate in the hearing, but sources indicate that the date may change.
The US Department of Defense (Pentagon) provided information to members of Congress on March 25 regarding the war that began with US and Israeli attacks on Iran.
However, on March 27, Democrats on the House Armed Services Committee called on Republican Representative Mike Rogers, who chairs the committee, to hold an open hearing with the participation of US Department of Defense (Pentagon) officials.
