Since the start of the US and Israeli operation, United States aircraft have carried out more than 12,000 combat flights against targets in Iran.
“Elchi” reports that the US Armed Forces Central Command in the Middle East (CENTCOM) has released information on this matter.
According to the aviation resource “Military Air Tracking Alliance”, the current US tactical aviation grouping in the Middle East consists of more than 250 combat aircraft, the largest part of which is deployed at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan (among them are F-35A, F-15E, F-16, as well as A-10 military aircraft). Combat aircraft are also deployed at Ovda Air Base in Israel and Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, as well as on the aircraft carrier “USS Abraham Lincoln” performing combat missions in the Arabian Sea area.
In addition, 23 US heavy bombers, including 15 “B-1B Lancer” and 8 “B-52H Stratofortress” aircraft, are deployed in Britain.
These strategic bombers carry out airstrikes against targets in Iran every day. Munitions are used to strike Iran’s most important and large facilities, especially protected areas where ballistic missiles are deployed, stored, and produced.
