Azerbaijan Aluminum JSC will be liquidated.
“Elchi” reports that this was stated in the decree signed today by President Ilham Aliyev on a number of measures to ensure the development of the mining (metal ores) and metallurgy industry in Azerbaijan.
In this regard, the Ministry of Finance has been instructed to ensure the repayment of the confirmed debts of “Azerbaijan Aluminum” to non-state organizations from the funds of the state budget of Azerbaijan or other financial sources provided by law, within one month from the date of submission of relevant supporting documents.
The Azerbaijan Investment Holding has been instructed to take necessary measures to resolve issues arising from this Decree.
The assets of “Azerbaijan Aluminum” will be transferred to the balance sheet of Azəralüminium LLC.
