Iran complains to UN about Arab countries

Iran has protested to the United Nations (UN) against countries, including the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait, for allegedly using their territories and airspace for US-Israeli attacks.
“Elchi” reports that, according to Press TV, the state television, Iran’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Saeed Iravani, sent protest letters to the UN Secretary-General and the President of the Security Council against the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait.
Reminding that, according to international law, states bear responsibility “when their territories are used for aggression or armed attack against a third country,” Iravani stated in his letter that “Iran has expressed its firm and unequivocal protest against these unlawful actions. Iran unequivocally calls on the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait to adhere to the principles of good neighborliness and prevent the continued use of their territories against Iran.” The letters, which contained information about the use of the territories and airspace of the aforementioned countries in the attacks, requested these countries to “respect the principle of good neighborliness” and not allow their territories to be used against Iran.
The letter stated that while Iran supports the principle of respecting the sovereignty of neighboring countries, it reserves the right to take “all necessary and appropriate measures,” including the right to self-defense, to protect its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and political independence.
