During a technical inspection conducted in the building of Mehdiabad settlement No. 3 full secondary general education school, operating under the Absheron-Khizi Regional Education Department, cracks were identified in the walls.
Information regarding this was provided to “Elchi” by MÜTDA.
It was stated that an instruction was given to take urgent measures to prevent potential unpleasant incidents and to ensure the safe operation of the school building.
Accordingly, as of April 1, 2026, the activities of the educational institution have been temporarily suspended. To ensure the continuity of education, students are being redirected to other nearby general education institutions and involved in the learning process.
Currently, the Absheron-Khizi Regional Education Department, together with relevant institutions, is continuing measures to investigate the causes of the situation and to carry out necessary repair and restoration works.
