Cabinet of Ministers adopted a new decision in the field of customs and precious metals

The Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a new decision regarding the application of legislation in the field of customs and precious metals.

“Elchi” reports that Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed a decision on this matter.

The decision is aimed at ensuring the implementation of the President’s decree dated March 16, 2026.

According to the document, the Ministry of Justice, together with relevant state bodies, must submit its proposals regarding the harmonization of normative legal acts with the new legislation to the Cabinet of Ministers within 5 months.

In addition, the State Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control Agency will submit the draft rules and certificate form related to state control over the import, export, and circulation of unpolished diamonds within one month.

According to the decision, other central executive authorities must also harmonize their normative acts with the law and decree and submit information on this matter to the Ministry of Justice.

At the same time, the Ministry of Justice must ensure the harmonization of all normative acts and submit a report to the Cabinet of Ministers within 6 months.
