Bundesliga club prepares to sign new contract with Turkish national team member

Germany’s “Hoffenheim” club is preparing to sign a new contract with Turkish national team member Ozan Kabak.

“Elchi” reports, citing “Sky”, that the Bundesliga representative has taken action to extend the contract of the Turkish defender, whose agreement is set to expire at the end of the season.

The German club is expected to offer a long-term new contract to the national team member. Additionally, the new contract is planned to include a release clause that will come into effect from 2027.

It is reported that negotiations between the parties will intensify in the coming days. Recently, Ozan Kabak’s name was associated with his former club “Galatasaray”.

It should be noted that the 26-year-old stopper, who missed the entire 2024/2025 season due to an ACL injury, returned to the field in the second half of this season and quickly became a key member of “Hoffenheim”. He scored 4 goals in 19 matches played for the Bundesliga representative. Ozan Kabak, whose current market value is estimated at 10 million euros, was transferred to “Stuttgart” at the age of 18. The defender then moved to “Schalke”, from where he was loaned to “Liverpool” and “Norwich City”, and finally transferred to “Hoffenheim”.
