Ali Asadov signed a decision regarding the Code of Administrative Offenses

The Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a decision regarding the application of amendments made to the Code of Administrative Offenses.

“Elchi” reports that Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed a decision regarding this.

The decision is aimed at ensuring the implementation of the President’s decree dated March 13, 2026.

According to the document, the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan, together with relevant agencies, must submit its proposals regarding officials authorized to draw up protocols on administrative offenses to the Cabinet of Ministers within 15 days.

Furthermore, it is envisaged that proposals regarding the harmonization of normative legal acts with the new legislation will be prepared and submitted within 5 months.

According to the decision, other central executive authorities must also harmonize their normative acts with the law and the decree within 4 months and submit information about this to the Ministry of Justice.

At the same time, the Ministry of Justice must ensure the entire harmonization process and report to the Cabinet of Ministers within 6 months.
