The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan has made changes to the rules regarding the state register of legal entities.
“Elchi” reports that Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a decision on this matter.
According to the decision, a new provision has been added to the “Rules for the Maintenance, Use, and Protection of the State Register of Legal Entities”. According to the change, it is required to inform the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan within 3 working days about the state registration of branches and representative offices of foreign media entities.
The document was adopted in accordance with Article 119 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as in connection with the entry into force of the law amendments dated July 14, 2025.
