As a result of incessant rains over several days in Baku and its settlements, flooding was observed in some areas, and although accumulated water has already been cleared in many places, this work continues in some areas.
According to information provided by Baku City Executive Power to “Elchi”, residents submitted appeals to district executive powers regarding the current situation. Based on these appeals, evacuation work was carried out in Sabunchu, Khazar, and Binagadi districts.
Currently, water pumping work is ongoing with the help of special equipment in the settlements of the aforementioned districts.
Additionally, residents of some residential areas in a dangerous situation have been temporarily accommodated in hotels.
