Professor Postol: Iran can retaliate against Israel’s nuclear strike.
“Elchi” reports that MIT Professor Theodore Postol stated that if Israel launches a nuclear strike on Iranian territory, Iran could retaliate. He shared his opinion in an interview with Green Dizen.
“I pray that many Israelis hear this: if Israel launches a nuclear strike, Iran can also retaliate,” he warned.
The expert noted that an attack by the US and Israel on Iran is meaningless, but now Tehran will definitely want to acquire nuclear weapons if it deems it necessary to protect the country.
On February 28, the US, together with Israel, launched a military operation against Iran. Numerous cities of the Islamic Republic, including the capital, were attacked. One of the strikes hit the residence of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei; he did not survive. In response, Iran launched missiles and drones at Israel, US military bases, and Washington’s allies in the Middle East.
