Spain’s Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares has stated that he does not see an end to the conflict with Iran and no clear objectives.
“Elchi” reports that “Reuters” has disseminated information about this.
“There is neither an end in the dual sense of a temporary end, nor clear objectives,” the diplomat said in an interview with Radio Euskadi. According to him, Spain has been calling for de-escalation, a return to the negotiating table, and dialogue from day one.
“We hope that Pakistan’s mediation with Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt will yield results, but at the same time, we observe the accumulation of military forces in the region, which bodes nothing good,” the head of the department added.
