According to the “Law on Tobacco and Tobacco Products”, the use of electronic cigarettes will be prohibited in Azerbaijan starting from April 1, 2026.
According to information provided by “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC to “Elchi”, based on the Code of Administrative Offenses, a fine of 30 manats will be imposed from the specified date for the use of electronic cigarettes in trains, railway stations, enclosed overground and underground pedestrian crossings.
“Electric trains care for the environment, but electronic cigarettes harm health. Use electric trains – care for nature and yourself,” the information states.
