Road police appealed to drivers returning from holiday

The Main State Traffic Police Department (MSTPD) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has appealed to drivers returning to their permanent residences with the end of non-working days.

“Elchi” reports that the appeal states:

“With the end of non-working days related to holidays, an increase in traffic intensity is observed on republican-significant highways with the participation of citizens returning from the regions to their permanent residences. The Main State Traffic Police Department appeals to traffic participants, asking them to strictly adhere to safety rules during their return, to set off during daylight hours as much as possible, and not to get behind the wheel when tired and sleepless. In addition, it is important for drivers to check the technical condition of their vehicles before setting off, to correctly assess road and weather conditions, to choose the speed limit according to the existing conditions during movement, to maintain distance, and to be especially careful during overtaking and other maneuvers.”

At the same time, drivers are required to rest at intervals during long-distance trips, to avoid using distracting factors, especially mobile phones, and to refrain from such behaviors.

“The MSTPD calls on traffic participants to be responsible on the roads and to strictly adhere to the rules,” the appeal stated.
