US President Donald Trump has extended the term of individual sanctions imposed against Russia for one year due to Moscow’s interference in American election processes and its large-scale attack on Ukraine.
“Elchi” reports that this information was reflected in the federal register of official documents of the US government.
It was noted that Russia’s activities pose an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security, foreign policy, and economy of the US.
“For this reason, the state of emergency declared by Executive Order 14024 regarding sanctions must remain in effect even after April 15, 2026,” the statement said.
