The Lebanese government must lift the ban on the activities of Hezbollah’s armed wing.
“Elchi” reports that this was stated by Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem.
The Secretary-General added that if the authorities want to restore national unity, they must legalize armed resistance and revoke the decision that puts Hezbollah fighters in an illegal situation:
“Currently, the responsibility for repelling aggression falls not only on the army and the government, but also on every citizen and all parties. Lebanon faces the threat of losing its sovereignty and the occupation of its southern regions by Israel. The US-Israeli plan is aimed at creating discord and confrontation within the country.”
