President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Mohammed Shahabuddin.
“Elchi” reports that the letter states:
“Dear Mr. President,
On the occasion of the national holiday of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh – Independence Day – I convey my most sincere congratulations to you and your entire people on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan.
There are pleasant traditions of friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Bangladesh. I believe that we will continue to make joint efforts towards the development of our bilateral ties and the expansion of our cooperation in accordance with the interests of our peoples.
On such a pleasant day, I wish you robust health, happiness, success in your endeavors, and peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Bangladesh.”
