Currently, rain is observed in the capital, as well as in several regions of the republic. According to the National Hydrometeorology Service, unfavorable weather conditions are expected to continue for several days. This situation can lead to increased slipperiness on roads, reduced visibility, and additional risks during driving.
This was reported to “Elchi” by the Main State Traffic Police Department.
It was stated that, due to rainy weather, the Main State Traffic Police once again advises drivers and pedestrians to be careful.
Drivers are requested to:
• Adjust their speed according to road and weather conditions.
• Maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead.
• Avoid sudden maneuvers and sharp braking.
• Pay special attention to the proper functioning of lighting systems during rain, fog, or drizzle;
• Avoid risky overtaking maneuvers unless absolutely necessary.
Pedestrians are advised to:
• Cross the road only at designated places.
• Correctly assess the distance and speed of vehicles before crossing.
• Be more careful in dark and limited visibility weather conditions.
