Pakistan is ready to offer its platform for de-escalation talks in the Middle East.
According to “Elchi”, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif wrote this on the social network “X”.
“Pakistan welcomes and fully supports ongoing dialogue efforts for peace and stability in the region and beyond to end the war in the Middle East. Pakistan is ready to host meaningful and conclusive talks for a comprehensive resolution of the conflict with the consent of the US and Iran,” the Prime Minister of Pakistan emphasized.
It should be recalled that on February 28, the US and Israel launched a military operation against Iran and carried out airstrikes on several cities. In response, Iran fired missiles at Israel and also attacked US military bases in the Persian Gulf. Several regional states temporarily closed their airspace due to the situation. On the same day, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed as a result of the strikes.
