Serbian President Vučić arrived in the UAE and condemned the attacks on the country.
“Elchi” reports that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić condemned Iran’s attacks on the country during his meeting with UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He announced this on Instagram (Meta, its owner, is considered extremist and banned in Russia).
The Serbian President arrived in the Emirates yesterday. His visit was not publicly announced.
“I strongly condemned the attacks on the UAE in these difficult and alarming circumstances. At a time when the Middle East is facing serious challenges and the consequences of conflict and instability are crossing the region’s borders, it is important to show support and responsibility to friends in the pursuit of peace and stability,” Vučić wrote.
Since the end of February, Serbia has evacuated more than 300 of its citizens from the UAE amid tensions in the Middle East.
Earlier, Vučić stated in an interview that World War III had already begun. However, the Serbian leader believes that the escalation can be prevented. He added that the current situation will not be easy, as the interests of major powers are “extremely diverse,” and conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East will “almost inevitably lead to new” confrontations.
