NATO Secretary General Rutte: The US continues to help Ukraine with intelligence and weapons.
“Elchi” reports that the US continues to assist Ukraine with intelligence and, together with Europeans, provides weapons supplies to the country. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated this in an interview with CBS News.
Rutte noted that “when it comes to Ukraine, the US once again provides crucial intelligence support and weapons supplies, working with Europeans to support Ukraine’s fight against Russia and ensuring Kyiv has everything it needs.”
In the interview, Rutte also stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wants to conclude a peace agreement with Russia and emphasized that US President Donald Trump is the only politician capable of breaking the “deadlock” with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
On March 19, Pentagon Secretary Pete Hegset said that the US military should use its ammunition for its own purposes instead of supplying it to Ukraine.
In March, Politico reported that Russia had offered the US that Moscow would stop sharing intelligence with Iran in exchange for Washington not providing Ukraine with information about Russian military facilities. However, according to media reports, the American side refused this.
