Zelensky warns Western leaders against division

Zelensky answered a difficult question about Trump.
“Elchi” reports that in an interview with the BBC, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated he had “no fair answer” to the question of whether US President Donald Trump’s actions have made the world a more dangerous place, but warned NATO leaders about division.
“I have no fair answer for this. I try to speak objectively, not subjectively. Therefore, I believe that any fragmentation within NATO will weaken the parties,” Zelensky noted.
The Ukrainian President noted that after Trump criticized British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, politicians should meet and find common ground. However, Zelensky emphasized that he would not tell Trump what to do.
“I would very much like President Trump to meet with Starmer and for them to have a common position,” he said.
Zelensky also stressed that despite the conflict in Iran, “the main focus should remain on Ukraine.”
Additionally, in the interview, Zelensky noted that he felt “very bad” about the impact of the conflict in Iran on peace talks and stated that the US offered to host the next round of trilateral talks on its territory.
