New fines will be determined for violating legislation on receiving or granting grants.
“Elchi” reports that this is reflected in the draft law on amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses, which was discussed at the joint meeting of the Legal Policy and State Building, Human Rights committees of the Milli Majlis held on March 12 in a videoconference format.
According to current legislation, officials are fined in the amount of 2,500 to 5,000 manats, and legal entities are fined in the amount of 5,000 to 8,000 manats for conducting banking operations and any other operations under contracts (decisions) on receiving (granting) grants not registered in the manner prescribed by the Law “On Grants” by recipients of the Republic of Azerbaijan, or by banks and other payment service providers.
According to the draft law, for the same act, individuals will be fined in the amount of 1,000 to 2,000 manats./Trend
