The winners of the 98th Academy Awards, also known as the “Oscar Awards,” one of the most prestigious awards in the world of cinema, have been announced.
“Elchi” reports that this year’s 98th Academy Awards ceremony was held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, USA.
Comedian Conan O’Brien hosted the ceremony.
At the 98th Academy Awards ceremony, “One Battle After Another,” nominated in 13 categories, won the “Best Picture” award. The film’s director, Paul Thomas Anderson, also won the “Best Director” award.
Sean Penn, an actor from the film “One Battle After Another,” also “Best Supporting Male…” Spanish actor Javier Bardem, while presenting the “Best Foreign Language Film” award, chanted “No to War and Freedom for Palestine” during his speech on stage. Bardem’s words were met with prolonged applause from the guests in the hall. The best award categories and their winners at the ceremony were listed as follows:
