The State Agency for Safe Conduct of Work in Industry and Mining Supervision of the Ministry of Emergency Situations continues to take necessary measures within its powers to ensure safety in industrial and mining operations.

In this context, a planned inspection was carried out by the Agency’s inspectors at a multi-type filling station operating in the Sabunchu district of Baku city. During the inspection, a violation posing a danger to human life and health was detected at the station.
Specifically, it was determined that the next technical inspection of the gas cylinders and the capacities of the drying unit belonging to the compressed natural gas (CNG) equipment complex operated at the filling station had not been carried out.
Considering that the detected violation could not be immediately eliminated, and also taking into account the danger it posed to human life and health, the operation of the station’s compressed natural gas (CNG) equipment complex was suspended by the Agency’s employees, and a copy of the act drawn up for the elimination of the violation was presented to the responsible person of the facility.
In addition, a preventive discussion was held with the responsible person of the facility regarding technical safety, and relevant recommendations were given for the elimination of the detected violation.
