NATO’s Air Defense (AD) forces intercepted a ballistic missile launched from Iran over Turkish territory. This is already the third such incident recorded since the escalation of the conflict.
“Elchi” reports that this was announced by the Turkish Ministry of National Defense.
“A ballistic missile launched from Iran and entering Turkish airspace was neutralized by [defense assets] deployed in the east of the country,” RIA Novosti reports, citing the military agency’s statement.
The Ministry clarified that consultations are currently underway with Iran to clarify all circumstances of the incident.
