Table tennis championship among MES institutions concluded – PHOTOS

On March 11-13, 2026, a table tennis championship for team and individual supremacy was held among the institutions of the Ministry in the sports arena of the Sports and Health Club of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to information provided by the Ministry to “Elchi”, approximately 45 employees from a total of 14 teams of the MES Apparatus and its institutions participated in the championship, engaging in a determined struggle.

The championship was held under the chief refereeing of Zaur Mikayılov.

The award ceremony of the event began with the playing of the State Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Fuzuli Musayev, Head of the MES Sports and Health Club, spoke about the successes achieved by MES employees in republican and international competitions, and congratulated the winning institutions and employees in the table tennis competition.

In the three-day competition, the team of the State Fire Protection Service won against all its rivals and took first place in the team standings. The team of the State Agency for Control over Safety in Construction was awarded second place in the championship, and the team of the Civil Defense Troops took third place. The team of the Special Risky Rescue Service earned the title of the most determined team of the competition.

In individual competitions, Warrant Officer Ali Bayramov, an employee of the Special Risky Rescue Service, won the championship title. Iqbal Poladov, an employee of the “Izotop” special combine, took second place, and Lieutenant Colonel Elman Abilov, an employee of the MES Academy, was awarded third place. Veteran player Mammadbakhir Hasanov, an employee of the “Izotop” special combine, was awarded an honorary diploma in the competition.

At the ceremony, winners were presented with cups, diplomas, and medals.

Also, the Judges Committee of the Azerbaijan Table Tennis Federation was awarded an honorary diploma for their refereeing services in the championship, and the employees of the Ministry’s Medical Service were awarded an honorary diploma for their medical services.
