Israel’s Air Force (IAF) has launched a new series of airstrikes on the Iranian capital, Tehran.
“Elchi” reports that a statement regarding this was published on the “Telegram” channel of the Israel Defense Forces’ press service.
The statement noted that the targets of the attack were government buildings located in the city.
Shortly thereafter, Iran’s “Tasnim” agency confirmed a series of explosions in several districts of Tehran. The sounds of air defense systems firing can be heard in the city. According to the publication, the explosions were recorded in the central and northern parts of Tehran, however, there is currently no information on the extent of the damage.
It should be recalled that the US and Israel launched a military operation against Iran on February 28. IRGC announced that it had launched a large-scale retaliatory operation by attacking targets in Israel, Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, and Saudi Arabia.
