The US is considering a wide range of measures to neutralize Iran’s nuclear capabilities and at the same time does not rule out the possibility of the Iranian side voluntarily abandoning these developments.
“Elchi” reports that US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth made a statement about this. The Pentagon chief said when answering a journalist’s question about whether the US is ready to seize Iran’s nuclear fuel:
“The President is focused on Iran’s nuclear capabilities. We have a number of options – even up to Iran’s decision to abandon them, which we would welcome (although they were not ready for this during negotiations). I will never tell the world what exactly we are prepared to do or how far we can go, but our options certainly exist.”
