All students admitted to the “Water Resources Management” master’s program at the Azerbaijani-French University (UFAZ), operating under the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU), will be awarded an additional scholarship.
“Elchi” reports, citing iqtisadiyyat.az, that an agreement has been signed between ASOIU and the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency (ASWRA) in this regard.
According to the agreement, the State Agency has transferred a total of 18,000 manats to ASOIU for awarding to those students studying in the master’s program.
This fund, named “Education Scholarship,” will be awarded to students admitted to the “Water Resources Management” master’s program announced for the 2025-2026 academic year.
According to the information, 9 students are currently studying in the master’s degree program for “Water Resources Management and Protection,” which has been taught for the first time at UFAZ since September last year.
It should be recalled that this cooperation between the State Agency and the higher education institution aims to enhance human potential in the field of water resources management.
