An event on the topic “Urban Planning, Architecture, and Human Safety in Heydar Aliyev’s Ideas” was held at the Baku Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in connection with the “Year of Urban Planning and Architecture”.
Information about this was provided to “Elchi” by the press service of the MES.
It was reported that the personnel of the Baku Regional Center, representatives of the State Agency for Control over Safety in Construction, the State Fire Control Service, as well as the Union of Architects of Azerbaijan participated in the event organized jointly by the Main Department for Organization of Work with Regional Centers, Project Management, and Education Issues of the MES and the Baku Regional Center.
Colonel Elnur Maharramov, Head of the Regional Center, who opened the event with an introductory speech, noted the importance of declaring 2026 as the “Year of Urban Planning and Architecture” in our country and spoke about the relevant issues ahead regarding the implementation of the corresponding provisions of the approved action plan.
Other speakers provided detailed information about the formation of a healthy and sustainable environment related to urban planning and architecture, as well as construction legislation, norms, and rules.
At the end of the event, a video clip reflecting the exceptional services of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the field of urban planning and architecture was shown.
