Amid Iran’s missile attacks, Turkey’s airspace security is under control.
“Elchi” reports that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this during his speech at an iftar program.
“Precautionary measures are being taken,” Erdogan said, adding that the main goal currently is to keep Turkey away from the tension in the region.
“We are also against sectarian and ethnic discrimination that may arise due to attacks on Iran,” the Turkish President stated.
It should be recalled that NATO air defense forces destroyed 3 ballistic missiles that entered Turkish airspace after being launched from Iran on March 4, 9, and 13, following operations launched by the US and Israel on February 28.
