507 applications have been received from companies of 39 countries regarding the liberated territories.
“Elchi” reports that this was reflected in the “Report on the Activities of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2025”, which was discussed at today’s meeting of the Milli Majlis.
It was noted that as of January 1, 2026, 4155 applications were received by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) from entrepreneurs regarding the territories liberated from occupation.
Of the applications, 3648 were local, and 507 were foreign, with applications received from foreign companies covering a total of 39 countries.
3051 of the applications were investment projects, 631 were for work and services, and 473 were other citizen applications.
98% of investment projects were local and 2% were foreign projects; 60% of them covered trade and services, 17% agriculture, 14% industry, and 9% other sectors. Of the proposals for work and services, 32% were local and 68% were foreign applicants.
69% of the applications covered construction works, 15% trade and services, 11% industry, and 5% other sectors. Applications received from physical and legal entities regarding the implementation of entrepreneurial activities in the territories liberated from occupation were analyzed, classified by field of activity, administrative district, investment amount, etc., and proposals from potential entrepreneurial subjects were submitted to the relevant authorities for consideration.
